Coming Full Circle
The Olympia Symphony’s 65th Anniversary Season culminates with a celebratory performance of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, a masterwork that brings the Olympia Symphony and the Olympia Choral Society together on one stage. The Don Giovanni Overture was the first piece performed by the Olympia Symphony, and “Festschrift” is composed by Austin Schlichting, OSO violist and grandson of former Olympia Symphony Music Director, Fred P. Schlichting. We are proud to present this OSO-commissioned world premiere!
