Event Description:

Capitol Land Trust and Shellfish Week are excited to present the grand opening of the interpretive trail at Randall Preseve on Mud Bay. Come learn how this preserve has changed over time and its important role in keeping Puget Sound Healthy. The community is invited to attend this open house from 3-5, taking place at Randall Preserve and neighboring Bay Mercantile. Ribbon cutting and remarks by community leaders will take place at Randall Preserve at 4pm.  

Festivities will include:
  • Enjoying shellfish treats prepared by Chelsea Farms and Taylor Shellfish Farms
  • Strolling on the new interpretive trail
  • Bird watching
  • Exploring the wonders of shellfish with Pacific Coast Shellfish Growers Association
  • Book signing with Cynthia Nims
  • And more!

he event will be open to the public, local dignitaries, ambassadors from the Thurston County Chamber of Commerce and other business leaders .
